In just six easy steps you can make these adorable Mickey Mouse Christmas ornament cupcakes. It’s the perfect treat to make for your Holiday party or even a birthday this time of year! Watch and learn how Elisa Strauss, of Confetti Cakes, makes these edible ornaments.

You’ll need:
Cupcakes baked in gold wrappers

2.5″ ring (or top of a glass)
Pastry tip #806
Luster dusts: Gold, cranberry and silk white
Lemon extract
*Pre-dyed fondant: green, and red (or dye with gels)
*White Fondant or gum paste
Small Rolling pin
Vegetable shortening
Paring knife
Small ball tool
Royal Icing in a pastry bag fitted with a #2 pastry tip

For Mickey Mouse:
Mickey cutter-1.25″ x 1.25″
Flesh colored fondant
*Black, pink and white pre-dyed fondant
Black gel
Paintbrush with fine tip

Optional for other patterns:
Star cutter
# 804 Pastry tip for polka dots
Pale blue fondant
